In case you missed it, the Financial Services Commission (FSC) launched Belize Companies and Corporate Affairs Registry’s (BCCAR) Online Business Registry System (OBRS) on November 28, 2022. All registry services under the Business Name Act Cap. 247, Belize Companies Act No. 11 of 2022 and Limited Liability Partnerships Act Cap. 258 are now digital and easily accessed via OBRS. That’s right! Businesses can access these services from anywhere in the country using their desktop computer or mobile device. The new online platform provides a proper regulatory and economic environment for businesses that will reduce the cost of doing business and foster economic growth.
